Christmas is here! But there is not much of Christmas Spirit this year in Jakarta or it is just my feeling?
I can only feel the Christmas feeling when I'm going to the shopping malls or some western restaurant. In here they use some Christmas decorations, events and also Christmas choir but other than shopping malls and church, I can't feel the Christmas present. Not many Christmas decorations in the road or offices here.
But I guess, wether there is a lot of Christmas Spirit or not in here, we have to have ourself a little Merry Christmas since Christmas is felt in our heart not by lighting hanging in the wall. What matters is we still have friends whom we can celebrate with. =)
Anyway here are some random pictures of Christmas in Jakarta:
This Christmas tree is at Central Park Shopping Mall. Personally, I think it is the best artificial christmas tree in Jakarta. The lighting of the 120-foot Christmas tree replica was enlivened by sparkling fireworks and snow effects that were scattered from the top of the tree.
There are also musical choir held every weekend. So if you are here, please try to look at it at night or just chill out at the restaurant surrounding at the park. =)
This Christmas decorations with musical choir is at the Pacific Place Mall. There are also many little Christmas trees around the corner. It's not a bad place to be.
This theme for Christmas is at Taman Anggrek Mall. They celebrate Christmas with decorations from fake sweets. Please don't try to eat the decorations. =P
