Living in Pantai Mutiara

Pantai Mutiara is a luxurious residential area in north Jakarta area. Pantai Mutiara literally means pearl beach in English. In here you can find big houses, apartments, fitness club, cafes and restaurants. Since it is located near the ocean, many big houses have a dock where there is a boat docking just in the back of the house. I always wonder how cool it is to have a boat! you can just drive the boat or go to an island whenever you want. =P

To get to Pantai Mutiara, you can take the highway road or toll road and then exit at Pluit, Jembatan Tiga. After that you just go straight until you pass Emporium Pluit Mall if you are from semanggi area. From there it is just 5 minutes to Pantai Mutiara. You can ask people for directions. Its easy.

Pantai Mutiara always have a special place in my heart. I often go there just to do many things. In here, you can do jogging every afternoon by the sea, you can relax in the cafe with ocean wind in your face. You can just sit on the rock or walk on the boulevard to see sunset or sunrise and even walk with your dog. It is one of the romantic place you can hardly find in Jakarta nowadays. The breeze is good and the air quality is better due to the location. I used to unwind here whenever I got stress at work in the evening. =)

What you will find in Pantai Mutiara:

1. Big luxurious houses with boat.
2. Three Cafes which is Cafe Dermaga, Jet Ski Cafe and Oceanic Cafe.
3. Two Restaurant which is Pantai Mutiara Seafood and Ta Yang Suki Restaurant.
4. Two Luxurious Apartment which is Regatta Apartment and Pantai Mutiara Apartment.

Pantai Mutiara apartment is the older apartment, it is located in the middle near the Dermaga Cafe. It is very nice. On the other hand, Regatta is the new one. It is very futuristic looking. Regatta also wins an international award for best apartment. I never been inside the regatta since it never open to public, but in the future if I have access to it, I will make a post in this blog.

So, If you are here in Jakarta for holiday or try to live here. This is one place in my list that you must try. It is rare to have a place by the ocean that has a good quality.
